Men’s Skin Care
Hello again everybody! How are you all today? I hope you are looking forward to another installment from my beauty and personal care blog. I know I have been really looking forward to writing this post as it is a subject I am really passionate about. Especially as I have been doing my research over at http://www.easyprices.com/. I always get excited about the range of cheap and affordable bargains they have for sale online. But before we get on to that I just wanted to thank all of you who wrote in with your thoughts and comments about my last blog post. It is not only really encouraging to receive your feedback but it is also imperative for the development of the content the blog. Without your input I would likely lose my way with it so please keep the opinions coming in. Also, if any of you are yourselves budding writers and would like to try your hand at guest blogging then please drop me a line and we can work something out. The more informative content we can share with each other the better, right? And there is nothing more I would rather see than for this blog to become a contributory community resource where we all muck in together. So if putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) is your thing, let’s talk. You know how to get hold of me. But I digress! On to today’s blog topic! Men’s Skin Care! Let’s do this!
Men’s Skin Care Products
For many men skin care doesn’t venture further than a tube of shower gel and a tin of shaving foam. I can certainly attest to that fact as that used to be my own attitude towards skin care. It is just not something that men have traditionally held in high importance. However, in recent years with access to better research and the breakdown of gender stereotypes, men’s skin care has become an accepted and encouraged form of personal care without any of the stigma that used to surround it. Cleansing prior to shaving is hugely important and contributes towards a smoother and more efficient shave. It removes dead skin, grease and toxins from the face and should be done at least once a day, preferably prior to shaving. Shaving itself should be given far more consideration than what is generally considered the norm. Rather than just a bog standard shaving foam, a moisturising oil or gel should be applied, especially when using a traditional, close shave, razor. Post shave, a quality aftershave balm and/or moisturiser should be applied. Organic and natural skin care products should always be selected over their chemical counterparts. The chemicals in many so called skin care products simply damage the skin and can cause longterm damage that is often irreversible. Ingredients such as aloe vera, tea tree oil and coconut are all extremely kind to the skin and products that contain them should be sought over others. As well as maintenance skin care, it is also hugely important for men to apply anti-ageing creams to offset the effects of ageing skin, like wrinkles and bags under the eyes. All of these treatments should be applied on a daily basis and be given serious consideration.
